It is sometimes interesting to look down on the vast canvas that is human existence. Trying to perceive the complex tangle of woven son over thousands or even millions of years. A simple change of mood from the smallest of us can have catastrophic consequences or not, totally wonderful.
That taking into account the six degrees of separation between every human being, my mood can and will influence the people, who will transmit it, factor in the bus driver through the host of open lines. Certainly there are people insensitive to all the brouhaha, but insensitivity is not without affecting the people around them. Hence the importance of cultivating virtue.
I was amused recently become aware of the reactions that could lead people to my house, and the chain reaction that could cause. When I serve drinks at tables, I am entitled to a range of interactions with people. The impatient grumbling, the pretentious Parisian accent, the lonely bar in search of love, the legion of undecided and tribes - those who travel in large groups, trying to get a place in locations small and already-filled, all provide me with sufficient evidence to observe small scale myself carry a larger scale and take the pulse of the world. Every interaction creates the world. First, by the individual, then the interactions of individuals in small, then in larger groups, up to planetary group, some individuals with more or less influence on more or fewer individuals. But think again. Even the smallest of us, I repeat, has an infinite potential influence. Quebec is in turmoil "ethnic" for: 1) a tinted window 2) A ham sandwich, 3) 20 minutes from pool 4) A prenatal 5) A rumor on veiled voting and some other trifles like that. This does not mean that the debate should not occur. Just as the smallest silliness, if it finds the right channel of communication and agglomerate with other small trifles, can cause something big.
Imagine, for a few minutes, the possible consequences of your every move during a day. Your morning smile may have contaminated the day of hundreds, even thousands of person (eg if you take the subway). Ditto for your chronic bad mood. Think about the social implications of pervasive and horrible perfume in a crowded subway at 8 am. Gestures or touching beauty. Your attitude may have been impact into a newsroom or a meeting room of the Ministry of Defence. I do not know how to conclude this post. I'm going to smoke.
