Placement Of Brownie Inspired By You Patch

Well, I won my election ...

Yes, tonight, I was one of the lucky ones who could go to exercise their democratic right (peuh. ..), in the wonderful riding of Outremont .

I was right signage, appeals, pamphlets, over the last 3-4 weeks. But, unlike other elections, I moved around heartbreak and misery, so that everyone knew that the Liberals would win anyway , this time I felt it was going to be the Democrat party.

I started as a grudge against the NDP, which had sent Léo-Paul Lauzon sting of votes to the Bloc, which was on track to change the tradition. This time, it was almost unequivocally: I hesitated a few seconds before the check François Yo Gourd, but I like Jack Layton, and he deserved a member Quebec. I also liked how Thomas Mulcair sent graze Jean Charest, and that, it also deserves my vote.

short, it was my opinion a good slap in the face of the troops of Stephane Dion, a leftward shift in Outremont (!!!) (!!!) and my first "victory" over election the market. And I hope that the other Maman Dion has prepared a shipment of Quick warm. Son that he will need warm the heart in the coming months.

As regards the others, and the big picture, well, it makes no same. The Bloc has the lead in the wing, we want to know anything about the Liberals, and stars (Lebel, Mulcair) won. I still have to congratulate Eve-Mary Thai Thi Lac. A new very refreshing in these times of slight cultural tensions, although, again, the assistant takes the place of the incumbent, which I find a little too aristocratic for democracy.

short, attach it to an excellent hockey game, and lover of politics and sports took me for his money tonight.

reasonable accommodation: The inability to choose sides.

For those who do not know yet, Renart and I had to maintain correspondence during the inter-blog debate on reasonable accommodation. I put a lot of time to respond, because that's the kind of story that can easily escalate.

The commission on accommodation is a trap for idiots. Its implementation (creating a public commission from 3-4 miscellaneous blown up by the mass media is dishonest), to excerpts from the new hearing (show 10 seconds of an intervention to remove the sentence that kills, it's also dishonest), need not be a big conspiracy to show that attempts to provoke nationalist disks to start to generalize from situations, my faith, frivolous, and even further away from a possible basis for new entrants in favor of a common social project. When we lack 1% to move forward with a plan for the country, we do not look for new enemies.

When people called left boarded in a tragedy like that, we start to be in deep shit. Moreover, for your information, wherever the Commission passes, hearings take place in hotels or large conference rooms. In Montreal, the last day, it happens to Local Police Brotherhood! Not what you call playing with fire, or expect the worst?!?

I am both Immigrant and son of Quebec, I do not want to choose sides. Anyway, there is no camp to take. We swim in démago flat out, I would not be surprised to see the Heritage Front and KKK out of their hiding places, the ones who made the mess in the early 90s, in Montreal (yes, it surprises you?) .

The Kirpan, the sailing, ham sandwiches, tinted the windows of the gym. You see here the foundation for a necessary debate on society? We had not even finished the debate "Lucid / Partners" a great debate on the "Quebec values" the fuck! Even the commissioners seem to have left their trial in the closet to the signing of contracts.

One thing is for sure. These are the federalists who should relish. If the nationalists decide to enter into conflict with immigrants: farewell, harmonious country at birth! Reliably, it would be easier to get the percentage needed to sovereignty in our French-speaking immigrants that bring together the stock Quebecers. However, given the number of nationalists who fall into the trap standard facilities, we understand much better their inability to go seek a 50% in 40 years.

The worst thing is that, as hardline nationalist (yes), I do not let me. That same independence that I think, not a hackneyed concept hope to win by default. But my country project includes . It does not point the finger at people, but problems. He does not try to shirk responsibility for one another. He is not looking for scapegoats. When something does not work, I do not look at the side of the state, I do not watch my neighbor I look in the mirror .

When I think of independence, I think on Day 1 when we opted for a country and we will all Quebecers and all (unless the country is not called Quebec). It is clear that we will get there with a joint containing mainly common values. Of civic governance is a new system of common values that we will locate and affirm. What happens now is that scapegoating, profiling "bad new Quebecers," People's founder and victimization. There is no conflict, no enemy, no real threat, if not a citizen lax approach to information.

Renart was unfortunately trapped with his post titled Our soft language, it uses two excerpts from Radio-Cadenas to feed his indignation, extracts, we learn later, which, taken together, would rather have fueled his hopes. It should not, as a blogger, fall into this kind of facility. Leave that to those who are paid to say shit.

To instill a bit of real knowledge to my friend, Quebec has the final say on all immigrants coming. It's called selection Quebec here can be tested to determine whether there is likely to be accepted. Not just anybody in Quebec.

Second, I invite you to download the guide "Learn Quebec" for the future and new arrivals. You can make a more informed assessment of what is shown by the Department.

Third, I remind my friend Renart and other nationalists tempted by the desire to find scapegoats, it is the PQ with André Boisclair in the department, who put the chainsaw in programs and agencies francization . Even today, we Francise children but not parents. How do you think there is some cohesion in the integration? On the other hand, it is difficult to assess that French is threatened in Quebec, since studies in this direction and are very contradictory. As regards my friend Renart, I dare say that the source of his frustration is to live in a very poor neighborhood, and to experience the culture of exclusion, or anti-culture.

These immigrants, graduates and skilled workers, who pick up the crap jobs, living in slums, which freeze in winter, delivering pizzas, which are of 80 hours a week to feed more children, are also crap on the life. This is no time to find the culprits, but to identify a common project. I bet $ 100 with anyone that day or the number of Quebecers ethnic separatists exceed the number of (Quebec federalists English + strain), a lot of immigrants will vote YES if they are included in the project.

I have two texts that I want to propose Renart and all other "Martyrs Quebecers," texts that I put things in perspective. If after reading these, they want to continue their "dramatization," I did what I could.

One is an interview View the newspaper with the lawyer Julius Grey, who explains very well the importance of reasonable accommodation for integration More successful immigrants.

The other is Lysiane Gagnon, who deserves my respect for Human of the week, for a text of a refreshing lucidity by days. "The false crisis" puts its finger on the same bobo me, namely the blown up by some journalists trivial events that creates a potentially explosive social issue, and leaders who (like what a surprise) s' in washing their hands.

Let us not fall into a trap. We are better than that.

Oh, and by the way, the opportunity is so great for the PQ going to get a little color for the partial Bourget and Pointe aux Trembles. It shows a little example.

How To Deal With Lump Of Mucus In Sinuses

Finally, a political spectrum in 4 directions! The other civic

Here, finally, to end the bickering left-right, the political compass (political compass).
It allows you you better be on the political spectrum in a broader way than the left and right.

After a questionnaire about your views on a range of aspects, such as politics, sex, religion, society, small application that takes you on the grid policy. The horizontal axis is the economic axis, while the vertical axis is the social axis, ie the type of governance choice between the extreme authoritarianism and anarchy.

I am, according to this test, and as I'm a libertarian, but left. Less state, less rigid structure, more individual freedom but a less wild and "free for all" issues of life in society, and less power to the associations, they were (religious, political, economic, social or even ethnic).

Here is an example for comparison.
Come on, do the test and give me the news.

How To Convert A Plug In Lamp Into Hardwired

..

The debate was launched. Renart accepted my invitation and issued a ticket entitled "There's a smell of taboo." This text tries to put into perspective the argument of Reynard the integration of newcomers, particularly

"some unfortunate situations experienced by my companion when traveling by subway, in line with the lack of civility of some immigrants of recent date.
"
Simply by reading this sentence from the text of Reynard, I begin with a question: Is there there a trick to identify a recent immigrant?

Unless ask, we can theorize all you want, but it is certainly not by his attitude on the subway we can define the time of arrival of an immigrant.

Thus, it is impossible to know whether the predicaments faced by his companion were linked to the lack of civility of some immigrants of recent date.

move on.

Renart stuck more with this statement:

"The natural path that the xenophobic and racist based on an established system that scrutinizes the differences in external and then reacted by strengthening its decision by adding "evidence", reveling in the status quo: that is a little more then expand its shell, the instead of making it crack. "

Renart seems to forget that his own expectations with cohabitation in transit are not shared by all. Where the rub is that this incident serves to justify questioning of welcoming immigrants, supposedly because, from rural areas of third world countries, it is not taught them good citizenship, and upon their arrival, the government has not taken support in this regard. But whatever the reason, I feel the message is:

WE know how to behave in society. Could someone explain THEM?

Of Quebec who do not live, there are of all colors and all backgrounds. Period. People who do not live like Reynard-that is to say trying to be virtuous with its next-there are tons. Racist people, there are also all colors, and even beyond "race", our mouth does not please everyone and vice versa. No need to generalize, except to say: I hate being pushed, or I hate being denigrated. Is that so complicated? No need to classify by color but by behavior, since these are the behaviors that we have problems.

Racism Xenophobia is also said that their condition is a newcomer that explains their lack of knowledge of "convention" because we are civilized, they are savages.

It's been years that the STM is promoting agreements to its customers: advance to the rear, yield your place to people in need, do not pull the red lever next to the door ... "If citizenship, as understood by Renart, was a problem of immigrants, no need of such advertisements, the Department explain their arrival and lessen the problem, at least among immigrants. But civic conventions are blurred, to change every 50 km and can sometimes go from one extreme to the other between two Montreal or area code to another.

In my world, citizenship is not to abuse the perfume before entering the subway at rush hour. Yet, at 8am, I was saturated with the sine of the different species varsol equally incompatible with each other. This is the problem of large groups. More often than not, someone crosses the boundaries of someone else, and so on and so forth. If you are the 15th in the chain of frustration is boring but it can hardly help but be the case frustrant.Dans Transit, I acknowledge that more promiscuous ethnic clashes regarding possible between humans.

But even on a Monday, I am being pushed by a Sri Lankan, that on Tuesday I am yelled at by a Haitian, I do that on Wednesday cut the queue by a Colombian, I see that on Thursday an Italian watering his sidewalk etc.. etc.. etc.. I can not in any way say that we should question the civility of our newcomers. I dealt with four individuals who, for whatever reason probably always crossed my limit.

By cons, in a case such as I state often, Quebecers do not generally the strong smell of sweat. It is difficult for many to approach this issue with the "offenders" to the convention. Proposing politely at all the use of deodorant, for example, rather than denouncing the smell of sweat some, allows easier integration of habit, avoiding the discomforts and silences which eventually degenerate into profiling, as was the case recently.

I do not think the debate on reasonable accommodation is the place to point the finger of the types of individuals or groups of individuals with behavior X or Y in isolated circumstances, but to try and build consensus on living together.

Just to look at the composition of the National Assembly, it is understood that Quebec is far from a value system and consensual agreements. Hence, difficult to establish a comprehensive code of life which everyone will adhere. I heard that his dog could écouiller yourself on a farm, I challenge you to try to sterilize yours on your balcony in Montreal. At Blainville, I think fines are distributed to owners of uncut grass, so that your Eco Quartier de Montréal, we will explain that monoculture, even lawn is bad for earth. Two cities, two worlds.

I listen to Bach at 8 am, the other listening to the House at 2am. Are you more

:

TQS or VAT?

The Montreal newspaper Le Devoir, or?

Réjean Breton or Leo Paul Lauzon?

Eric Lapointe and Daniel Belanger?

Nathalie Elgrably or ... uh ... (No, she has no equal on the other side of the political spectrum)?

I could go on indefinitely.

I think in any case, the debate on reasonable accommodation should slip on profiling " One group did this, another group did that, ah yes, ah yes. "Instead, it should provide an outline of living together and help better integrate immigrants into our society, allowing them to preserve some identity markers reassuring for them and do not in any way infringe on our own existence and that will ensure a smoother transition between the status of new Quebecers than Quebecers. Assuming there is a well-defined status of Quebecers, which I doubt. But hey, who knows, this sense of identity As expected might well take this window to display the nose. In the quiet, I hope.

This would well.

Women Wearing Sanitary Towels

An honest proposal.

Renart and I had some clashes ( here and here ) in a time of reflection on reasonable accommodation. I feel that our respective perceptions are likely to face the public square, so I thought starting a correspondence between blogs, for the next few months, just to better understand and discuss issues such as immigration, national identity, and all we dare not say aloud.

Recently, I was thinking to know that when the economic right can not impose its doctrine a social democratic society propaganda economic (debt, lucid, etc..), she attacks a system on matters racial, as was the case in the Scandinavian societies and France in recent years. The ADQ has capitalized on this aspect during the last election, although the matter was far from the heart of its agenda.

The coming months are likely, unless one is dealing with a damp squib, to be really emotional. In a worst case scenario, it can slip badly. Gérard Bouchard, like his brother does not seem to be in the lace and his first attack intellect to demonstrate that Quebeckers can be a solid spark a giant mess.

And that, my best friend in a ticket for citizenship, pointing at the "Other" in situations that he and his sweet experienced recently. As a former member of the political action of Quebecers of immigrant origin (stie that's long) PQ and participated in the week of action against racism in 2005, I can that the voltage rises on both sides. If the Commission is where "ethnos" and "pure wool" to say what they really think of each other (and I'm damn well should know), buckle up properly.

I invite my friend Renart to continue the discussion on his blog . I will answer here. Not like a duel, but as a conversation between two buddies who want to "defuse" during the month we might offend everyone before, during and after Commission on reasonable accommodation .

I hope he will accept.

Hot Cheetos Back Pain

Sweet Justice ...

M mother has sent me this story via email today. I'll share it, since it is preparing to swim in a debate that once ethnic overshadow debates over, say, relevant.

History, they say true (and unfortunately I have no problem to believe) is happening in an aircraft (probably not Air Canada, in French ...).

-What is your problem, ma'am? the hostess asks a lady who called.
But you do not see? Meets the lady. You placed me next to a black. I can not stand to stay next to one of these disgusting creatures. Give me another seat!

-If you please, calm down, "said the hostess.
Almost all the seats for this flight are taken. I'll see if space is available.

The hostess walks away and comes back a few minutes later.
Madam, as I thought, there is no more free space in economy class. I spoke to the captain and he confirmed that there is more room in the executive class. However, we still have a place in first class.

Before the woman could make any comment, the stewardess continues:

- It is quite unusual in our company to permit a person to sit in economy class first class. But given the circumstances, the captain would find it scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so disgusting.

And addressing the man, the hostess said,
- So, sir, if you wish, take your hand luggage for a seat in first class awaits.

And all the passengers around, who, shocked at the scene stood up and applauded ...

I hope you will not mind, but it made me warm at heart ...
