Women Wearing Sanitary Towels

An honest proposal.

Renart and I had some clashes ( here and here ) in a time of reflection on reasonable accommodation. I feel that our respective perceptions are likely to face the public square, so I thought starting a correspondence between blogs, for the next few months, just to better understand and discuss issues such as immigration, national identity, and all we dare not say aloud.

Recently, I was thinking to know that when the economic right can not impose its doctrine a social democratic society propaganda economic (debt, lucid, etc..), she attacks a system on matters racial, as was the case in the Scandinavian societies and France in recent years. The ADQ has capitalized on this aspect during the last election, although the matter was far from the heart of its agenda.

The coming months are likely, unless one is dealing with a damp squib, to be really emotional. In a worst case scenario, it can slip badly. Gérard Bouchard, like his brother does not seem to be in the lace and his first attack intellect to demonstrate that Quebeckers can be a solid spark a giant mess.

And that, my best friend in a ticket for citizenship, pointing at the "Other" in situations that he and his sweet experienced recently. As a former member of the political action of Quebecers of immigrant origin (stie that's long) PQ and participated in the week of action against racism in 2005, I can that the voltage rises on both sides. If the Commission is where "ethnos" and "pure wool" to say what they really think of each other (and I'm damn well should know), buckle up properly.

I invite my friend Renart to continue the discussion on his blog . I will answer here. Not like a duel, but as a conversation between two buddies who want to "defuse" during the month we might offend everyone before, during and after Commission on reasonable accommodation .

I hope he will accept.
