M mother has sent me this story via email today. I'll share it, since it is preparing to swim in a debate that once ethnic overshadow debates over, say, relevant. History, they say true (and unfortunately I have no problem to believe) is happening in an aircraft (probably not Air Canada, in French ...).
-What is your problem, ma'am? the hostess asks a lady who called.
But you do not see? Meets the lady. You placed me next to a black. I can not stand to stay next to one of these disgusting creatures. Give me another seat!
-If you please, calm down, "said the hostess. Almost all the seats for this flight are taken. I'll see if space is available.
The hostess walks away and comes back a few minutes later.
Madam, as I thought, there is no more free space in economy class. I spoke to the captain and he confirmed that there is more room in the executive class. However, we still have a place in first class.
Before the woman could make any comment, the stewardess continues:
- It is quite unusual in our company to permit a person to sit in economy class first class. But given the circumstances, the captain would find it scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so disgusting.
And addressing the man, the hostess said,
- So, sir, if you wish, take your hand luggage for a seat in first class awaits.
And all the passengers around, who, shocked at the scene stood up and applauded ...
I hope you will not mind, but it made me warm at heart ...
