Adam had relations domestic with his wife Eve. She became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said: "I gave life to a man with the help of the Lord." She began again in the world of Cain's brother Abel. Abel was a shepherd and Cain was a farmer.
After some time, Cain made an offering of products for the land the LORD. For his part, Abel also brought of the first of his flock and their fat. The Lord had respect to Abel and his offering but not Cain and his offering. Cain was very angry and he wore a gloomy air. The Lord said to Cain: "Why are you angry and why you tree-gloomily? Certainly, if you do well you will rise up. If however you do not do well, sin lieth at the door and wants to relate to you, but you have to dominate him. "
However, Cain said to Abel his brother: "Let's go into the fields" and, while they were in the field, he threw himself on him and killed.
